Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These terms apply to your use of ccToDo, including the website www.cctodo.com, the API at api.cctodo.com, the email addresses at cctodo.com and any ccToDo apps (together, "the service"). The service is provided by CloudCircus ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.

2. Your account

• You must be at least 13 years old, or older if the law in your country requires it.
• Give us a correct email address, and keep your password (or the account you sign in with) secure.
• An account is for one person. You're responsible for what happens under your account.
• Tell us at support@cctodo.com if you think someone else has access to your account.

3. Your content

You keep ownership of the tasks, lists, emails and anything else you put into ccToDo. You give us permission to store, copy, process and display that content only as far as needed to run the service for you, for example to sync it between your devices or to turn an email into a task. We don't claim any other rights to it.

Only send or add content you have the right to use. When you forward emails to task@cctodo.com, remember that they may contain other people's personal information.

4. Acceptable use

Don't use ccToDo to:

• break the law, or store or share illegal content;
• send spam or bulk email to our addresses, or use the service to harass anyone;
• try to access other people's accounts or data;
• disrupt, overload or attack the service, or get around its security or limits;
• automatically scrape the service, except through the official API as intended.

5. Early access and changes to the service

ccToDo is in early access. Features may be added, changed or removed, and the service may sometimes be unavailable. We work hard to keep your data safe, but we can't guarantee the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, so keep your own copy of anything important.

If we introduce paid plans, we'll tell you in advance. You won't be charged for anything you haven't explicitly agreed to pay for.

6. Ending your use

You can stop using ccToDo at any time and ask us to delete your account, as described in our Privacy Policy. We may suspend or close accounts that seriously or repeatedly break these terms. Where reasonable, we'll warn you first and give you a chance to export your data.

7. Disclaimer and liability

The service is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost data or lost profits arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, such as for gross negligence or intent, or any rights you have under mandatory consumer protection law.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change is important, we'll tell you by email or on the site before it takes effect. If you keep using ccToDo after that, the new terms apply. If you don't agree, you can stop using the service and delete your account.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by Danish law, and disputes are handled by the Danish courts. If you are a consumer living in another country, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of that country and can bring claims there.
